Where to begin…where to begin… I ventured over to the Philadelphia for a few days to see the downright amazing Lucy Vonne (you should check out her blog here). Thanks to the Phillies making it to the playoffs, however, we actually stayed in Cherry Hill, New Jersey. Nothing against New Jersey, I just think it’s a shit hole, but as I said, no offense.
We ended up ordering lots of room service and even catching up with the guys from Popporn, who answered every one of my Philly-based questions and treated us to an evening of wonder and delight. Oh yeah, it was on my birthday too. I’m 25 now, how exciting is that? Not very. I did get a cool new driver’s license though and it’s pink! Hooray for Ohio!

After Philadelphia, Lucy and I drove to New York City (her hometown) and I’ve been crashing at her place ever since. We’ve spent the week eating wonderful food, watching porn and job hunting. For those who haven’t had the opportunity to meet Ms. Vonne, let me tell you she is as amazing in personality, as she is in beauty. She’s taken me to so many places I’ve never been to – F.A.O Shwarz, Dylan’s Candy Bar, NBC Studios and H & M, just to name a few.
We also caught a few movies – Where the Wild Things Are, Saw VI, Law Abiding Citizen and The Invention of Lying. They were all fucking fantastic and I’ll admit, I shed a tear during WtWTA. Yeah… sue me.
I even got an unexpected surprise when I got to spend an afternoon with Jessie Lee, which is always a good time. I wish we could have kicked it longer, but NYC is a busy place and busy places are for busy people. I haven’t had any luck in my job hunt yet, but this past week has been one wonderful moment after another. Well, except that I realized New York City has an annex of the Rock ‘n’ Roll Hall of Fame. You know what NYC? The Rock ‘n’ Roll Hall of Fame is in Cleveland. It’s one of the very few things we have going for us. Why cant you let us have something of our own? I mean, come on, you’re trying to take LeBron from us too! NYC, I love you, but hands off.
I also had myself a little Ah-ha moment a few nights ago. I’m trying to cram so much information into each one of my posts on here, I’m losing my personality in the mix. So, from now, I’m going to focus more on my opinions and whatnot. I want to let my award-winning* personality and character shine through, because in all honesty – isn’t that what you all fell in love with? *wink* *wink*
*In the fourth grade, I won Best Personality in our year book. So… fuck you for not believing me.
