Interview with Rubella

So I have really been slacking on my interviews lately. Well my cute-as-hell buddy Rubella let me interview her yesterday and I wanted to post it ASAP to appease those of you out there who think I have become a lazy ass. It isn’t really as much of an interview, as it is us having a conversation like we usually do. So here you – enjoy.rubella

Dnothing: What’s your name?
Rubella: To you … it’s Rubella
Dnothing: lol. And what do you do for a living?
Rubella: Uh … well I’m a student and i have a stupid part time job but i also model for extra dollahs
Dnothing: Oh, what are you majoring in?
Rubella: Fashion design, i take online classes … it’s sort of weird
Dnothing: Not from degreeinpjs.com I hope.
Rubella: Hahaha no, it’s a real school in San Francisco.
Dnothing: Oh good…haha
Rubella: But I do wear my pjs while I work sometimes.
Dnothing: What do you want to do with your degree when you graduate?
Rubella: Mostly I just don’t want to have crappy min. wage jobs anymore. I’m not exactly sure what job I’ll get, but it sure as hell isn’t going to have anything to do with merchandising.
Dnothing: That’s really awesome. So how did you get started in modeling?
Rubella: Well I hate to bring up the “rivals” so to speak, but I used to work at a cafe and this redneck guy came in one day and said “hey, ain’t you one uh them suicide girlies?” And I said no … but I started to consider “alt modeling” thereafter
Dnothing: So it started with a case of mistaken identity?
Rubella: I’m not exactly sure if he mistook me for one of them, or he just thought I looked like i’d do that sort of thing
Dnothing: Oh haha, so he could have just been trying to pick you up
Rubella: Ew … probably..hahaha…like HEY YOU LOOK LIKE YOU GET NAKED ON THE INTERNET!! WANNA GET A DRINK!!?
Dnothing: Haha, I should try that sometime
Rubella: It could work!
Dnothing: So you don’t think you’ll ever model full time?
Rubella: Well I used to do it a lot more before I started school, but since I’ve had a lot less time to devote to it. Mostly now i try to squeeze things in between semesters … school is very important to me
Dnothing: That’s a good plan. What has your experience been like to model for Burning Angel?
Rubella: I love burning angel! They’re by far the best site I’ve worked for and I’ve met a lot of fun people through them
Dnothing: Like me!
Rubella: Exactly! haha
Dnothing: Even thought we haven’t “met”, but only in due time haha
Rubella: A minor technicality. Because of Burning Angel, I usually have a wide range of pictures of random guy’s penises saved on my computer, it’s sort of weird, people just like to send pictures of their wang to burning angel girls.
Dnothing: What? that’s crazy…*cough*
Rubella: Hahaha…I don’t think I have any of yours
Dnothing: *whew*
Rubella: But there’s always photoshop! hahahaha
Dnothing: Haha, well at least make it look right..I don’t want an “S” shaped penis or anything lol
Rubella: I’ll make it huge and everyone will call you wangzilla
Dnothing: Perfect! You’ll hear no argument from me. Modeling with BA, have you ever considered or been approached to do video?
Rubella: I’ve thought about it and it’s been talked about with staff but in the end I don’t think it’s something i am going to pursue
Dnothing:: So aside from being busy with all that you do, what do you like to do in your free time?
Rubella: What free time?? Ahhh…seriously … i like to cook a lot! and i play video games
Rubella: Do you want to see picture of my pizza??

Dnothing: Oh boy, you’re a gamer?! (boner) Let’s see the pizza. I’ll share it with everyone.
Rubella: Haha, a bit. I used to be  REALLY into games when i was younger but i’ve calmed down a bit. I just pop in a game when I get bored. Last month it was Pokemon blue for Gameboy and now it’s final fantasy X. I made that last night, it was my first pizza ever. I know it’s sort of square-ish but I’d like to see you do any better on your first shot.
Rubella: It’s also vegan.rubellapizza
Dnothing: Oh yes, you are a vegan aren’t you?
Rubella: Mhmm..The green blobs are pesto and the whitish blobs are tofu “ricotta”.
Dnothing: Pesto is always delicious. Have you always been vegan?
Rubella: Not my whole life, no. It’s probably been 3 or so years.
Dnothing: Any particular reason for the change?
Rubella: I’ve been lactose intolerant for most of my life, so dairy has always been a challenge. when I grew up and realized, especially when I moved out of my parents’ place, that I could choose for myself what I ate, Veganism seemed like a healthy choice. I get substantially less tummy aches now.
Dnothing: Healthy is always a good choice, I did the same thing this past year.
Rubella: I see … do you drink Kombucha?!
Dnothing: Never heard of it
Rubella: I make it at home, it’s a probiotic drink thingy. It’s definitely an acquired taste … but it’s SO good for you…it pretty much flushes out all the bad stuff in your body.
Dnothing: Hmm interesting. I’m not sure if we have that here. What’s something you can’t do without?
Rubella: Chapstick
Dnothing: Lol fair enough
Rubella: Seriously, I’m addicted to it
Dnothing: Any particular kind?
Rubella: I have this stuff from Trader Joe’s, it pretty much rules. One time I went to a sex shop and they sold this “pussy pucker pots” of lip balm and the flavor I got was “Choco-Nipple ripple”
Dnothing: haha fantastic!
Rubella: I still have the container!
Dnothing: Do you have a CD or song you are just in love with right now?
Rubella I’ve been most recently obsessed with “doubly unbeatable” by cars can be blue. i saw them play on my birthday and they just rock so much. It’s weird because it’s different than a lot of music I listen to, but i love them anyway. That’s their album, by the way haha
Dnothing: Well I guess that’s all I have. Any words you’d like to leave people with?
Rubella: Err… i don’t know! stay in school and go look at me naked on the internet!
